Welcome to our apiaries

where bees never cease to fascinate us!

On average, worker honey bees live for 1 month in the summer and around 3 months during the cold season.  Often times their existence is unnoticed, yet their absence would be devastating.  In their short life honey bees are able to gift humans and animals with a variety of fruits, vegetables,  nuts, and seeds through pollination, as well as produce "natures' gold" called honey.  Wax, pollen, and propolis are also treasured products of honey bees, often used in cosmetics and medications due to their healing properties.
